Only two available – This 11 x 14″, Vintage, Original 1969, Official, NASA Print Depicts Buzz Aldrin Descending down the Lunar Module ladder for the first time, and onto the Moon’s surface. The print has been authentically signed by Aldrin in SILVER ink. The print was part of a series of “First Manned Lunar Landing.”
The print is an official NASA color photo that was produced by the U.S Government Printing Office in 1969 for the Apollo 11 Moon Landing. Along the bottom of the image, the print has typed copy explaining the image and to the right is the official NASA number and the words “National Aeronautics and Space Administration”. Aldrin cleverly marks out the pre-printed “Edwin E.” and “Jr.” as he officially changed his name to “Buzz Aldrin” in 1985.
Each photo is high quality color and measures 11″ x 14″ on heavy paper stock. The print is in excellent condition and ready for framing.
This print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Buzz Aldrin Ventures COO Linn LeBlanc, with a picture depicting Aldrin signing the piece.
